Genesis Residential Group was established in the Spring of 2003. Although a relatively new organization, it is supported with over 50 years of combined experience in the building industry and a commitment to quality.

CEO and founder Gary Jernigan has over 26 years experience in all aspects of residential construction including management, strategic planning, sales, financial management, and development. Gary served as Division President for a major homebuilder in the Tampa, FL, Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland markets. He spent several years strategically positioning home building operations within the Southeast US; including such markets as Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Southeast Florida, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

COO Greg Steers has over 25 years experience of construction management, planning, sales, contract management, and financial management with major home builders serving as VP of Construction, Director of Product Development, and CFO in markets such as Texas, Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and Florida. Additionally, Greg formerly owned his own building company in the Washington D.C. area.
